It’s been a minute… so I dropped one.
My new single “Gimme a Minute” ft. Just Youngin is finally out, and for those of you who’ve been asking “Yo, what’s up with the music bro?” or “How’s the music thing going?” — this one’s for you.
Lately, I’ve been searching for a sound that feels fun again — not overly polished or overthought, but still rich with musicality and bounce. I wanted something that felt like freedom: the kind of track you can ride to, vibe to, or just let hit while you’re in motion.
When I came across this beat, it immediately felt right. Like… this is the pocket I’ve been waiting for. I didn’t have to force it. I didn’t have to over-cook it. I just let the pen move.
As I was writing, I could hear Just Youngin on it immediately. It didn’t feel finished without him. That’s my guy, and we talk all the time about how it’s time to pop back out, make noise again, and remind folks that we do this. Not for the clout, not for the approval — but because it’s in us.
I’m blessed to have people reach out and tell me they still bump my songs, that they’ve got “All Good”, “Diminished”, or “Stay Still” in their playlist, that they’re waiting on new drops. It means a lot. That kind of love is the reason I decided it’s time to start releasing again.
“Gimme a Minute” only took us about 24 hours to put together — and I think that’s what makes it so pure. It’s instinctive. It’s honest. It’s a damn good start to a promising future, and it reminded me why I fell in love with this in the first place.
So here it is — a warm-up. A reintroduction. A heads-up that I’m back outside, and I’m inspired.
